Psychology Fees & Rebates
Standard Consultation Fee
Our standard consultation fee (50 minutes): $200.00
The 2025/2026 nationally recommended rate as set out by the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi) is $330 (46 – 60-minute consultation) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS) is $318 (46 – 60-minute consultation). Our fees are significantly below these rates to ensure our services are more accessible.
Medicare Rebates
If you have a valid GP referral you may be entitled to a Medicare refund.
The current Medicare rebate is $101.55 per session.
After the rebate the out of pocket amount is $98.45 for 50 min session.
For people on a Government Concession Card, and you have a valid GP referral you may be entitled to have the psychology session bulk billed.
Private Health Fund Rebates
If you hold private health insurance you may be eligible for a rebate which is available at the time of payment through our HICAPS machine. It is best to call your Private Health Insurance fund and find out if you are eligible, how many appointments you can claim and the exact amount of your rebates. Note that Medicare rebates and Private Health Fund rebates cannot be claimed for the same consultation.
Other Funding Options
Workcover Queensland
We provide psychological services for clients with approved WorkCover Queensland claims. Our consultations are provided with no out-of-pocket costs for eligible clients. Please contact us to discuss your referral or to book an appointment.
NDIS
We provide psychological services for NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. If you are an NDIS participant and would like to access our services, please contact us to discuss your individual needs and eligibility.
Queensland Emergency Services
We are approved providers for employees of Queensland Police Service, Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Fire Service and can assist you through your organisation’s relevant programs.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
We provide psychological services for eligible Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) clients who hold a valid referral. For eligible clients, consultations are provided with no out-of-pocket costs. Please contact us to discuss your referral or to book an appointment.
EAP Providers
We partner with a range of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providers. If your employer offers an EAP, you may be eligible to access a number of counselling sessions with us at no cost. Please contact us to check whether your organisation is one of our approved EAP providers.
